March 2026 Release
March 2026 was a large month for the underlying platform. Much of the raw commit volume was infrastructure work with no customer-facing effect, but a real, well-evidenced set of product changes shipped alongside it: a reworked datasource sync experience, a new QDMS connector, an expanded Agent Ops workspace, and better usage reporting.
Developers maintaining custom applications should use the Developer Hub for API, SDK, package, and migration notes.
Highlights
- Datasource sync reworked with live progress, cancellation, and more reliable document loading.
- New QDMS datasource for quality management document systems.
- Agent Ops gained Skills, more tool integrations, and a task monitoring view.
- Chat logs and reporting gained usage totals, filtering, duration, and message feedback.
- New model options, including a GPT-5.4 family.
New in Studio
Datasource sync improvements
Datasource sync was reworked for reliability and visibility:
- A new API datasource type lets you connect a REST API directly as a source, with pagination and authentication handling.
- A live sync progress view was added across most connector types, including S3, Azure Blob, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, Confluence, and GitHub.
- Sync jobs can now be cancelled across supported vector providers.
- Document loading and error handling were made more reliable, including safer PDF and DOCX handling.
See Data Sources.
QDMS datasource
A new datasource connects Cognipeer to a QDMS (Quality Document Management System) over its SOAP API, so a Peer can search and answer questions from quality procedures, work instructions, and other QDMS documents.
See QDMS Datasource.
Agent Ops expansion
The Agent Ops workspace — where teams automate multi-step work with sandboxes and tasks — gained:
- Skills: reusable playbooks that can be attached to a project's agents.
- New tool integrations, including Grafana dashboards, a Slack incoming-webhook tool, and tools for downloading and analyzing images and PDF assets.
- A task monitoring view with logs, output files, and subtask status.
This capability now lives under Flow Projects; see Projects & Flows, Tasks, and Skills for the current documentation.
Reporting and chat logs
- A workspace token-usage report was added to the admin panel.
- Chat logs and form submissions can be filtered by conversation ID.
- Conversation and session duration are now calculated and shown.
- Chat log export now covers all filtered records, not just the current page.
- Message feedback (thumbs up/down) is collected and shown in the portal viewer.
Model updates
New model options were added, including a GPT-5.4 family (GPT-5.4, GPT-5.4-mini, GPT-5.4-nano), alongside routing updates for existing GPT-5.1 and GPT-5.2 models.
Fixes and reliability improvements
- Improved Microsoft 365 email tool: attachment support for reading and sending email, inline attachments, and better HTML/Markdown body handling.
- MCP tool connections support the streamable HTTP transport.
- Improved authentication for the built-in web search tool integration.
- Webchat input handling and close-button behavior improvements.
Action required
Studio and Pulse users do not need to migrate anything manually.
Teams connecting a QDMS system should review the new QDMS datasource setup. Teams using Agent Ops should review the new Skills capability for reusable agent playbooks.
Technical teams that maintain custom apps, SDK integrations, or client-side tools should use the Developer Hub for migration details.
