Add a Short Description and Initial Prompts relevant to sales tasks:
- How can I assist with qualifying leads?
- What are the top performing products this quarter?
Click Save.
Connecting a File Data Source for Customer Data
To make your Peer more effective, you will need to connect a File data source containing customer information.
- Go to the Data Source tab and click Add Datasource.
- Select File as the data source type and upload an
.xlsxfile with customer data.- This file might contain columns like
Customer Name,Contact Info,Deal Stage.
- This file might contain columns like
- Train the Peer on this data so it can retrieve customer records during conversations.
Integrating Hubspot for Sales Management
Now, we will integrate Hubspot to allow the Peer to manage deals and contacts.
Go to the Tool Gallery and select Hubspot Integration.
Attach the Hubspot tool to allow the Peer to search and retrieve customer or deal details.
Enable actions like
search_contacts,search_deals, andget_company_detail.- Example query: Can you find contact details for John Doe in Hubspot?
Testing the Peer
- In the Peer Chat interface, ask sales-related questions to see how the Peer interacts with the connected data source and tools.
- What deals are currently in the negotiation stage?
- Fetch contact information for customers in the 'Enterprise' category.
With this setup, your Sales Operations Peer will seamlessly manage customer data, interact with Hubspot, and provide actionable insights to help your sales team close more deals.
